Starting May 1st (that's today), I'm a part of a year long study that will see what happens to peoples' telomeres when on a raw vegan diet -- plus exercise and reflection. There are different groups: those on the 100 percent raw vegan diet, those on an 80 percent raw vegan/20 percent not raw vegan diet, and those eating like they always do. The second group is the one I'm in.
I've done long term research on food, exercise and the influences on the body. Now I'll be following a researcher's protocol for a year to see what happens to the telemeres.
